Welcome to ReMAL. ReMAL stands for 'Research Methods in Applied Linguistics'

Here are men and women working together, learning together, feeding each the other and upgrading each other's skills, non-stop. You are welcome to join, with no strings attached, or almost. This site is called a wiki, with potentially lots of resources open for all, but each and everyone of us is also called upon, as much as possible to add, enrich, edit, and enhance these resources.

ReMAL is an applied linguistics research unit headquartered at the College of Letters and Humanities of Sfax (FLSHS), University of Sfax, Tunisia. ReMAL aims to create a network of researchers interested in furthering their knowledge of research methods in applied linguistics. This is all about collaborative research, and no one is denied a voice.

Membership

While membership is technically limited to registered Tunisian Faculty and graduate students which allows them to seek financial assistance for research work they are conducting under the umbrella of ReMAL, anyone, anywhere is welcome to join this wiki and take advantage of the totality of its resources, human and otherwise. A provisional list of members is being drawn up.

-using the internet will help students develop their reading skills more those who rely on classroom texts.
-Using the internet will not help students achieve higher reading levels than those who rely on classroom texts.
-using the internet or relying on classroom texts in developing students reading skills will lead to the same result.
